Typical urban landscape of Amsterdam, Netherlands, at night. The so called "Dancing Houses", iconic colourful waterfront buildings along Damrak. The Damrak waterfront is located on a stretch of Dam canal between Amsterdam Centraal Station and Dam Square. It's right on the beating heart of Amsterdam. This typical houses are known as the "dancing houses" as a result of being built on stilts and subsidence over time has resulted in their crooked appearance.
